好高興!! 又見偶像渡邊謙!!
因為看早場所以只有小貓兩三隻, 心情還是很興奮的!
這本同名小說我看了兩次, 所以對電影的期望特別高. 也許是這樣所以有些失望,
覺得劇本太膚淺了! 每個演員都演得很好, 尤其喜歡鞏利的演出. 覺得她還是最美的中國女星.
真的很可惜, 雖然拍得美但差在劇本和對話, 讓電影顯得不夠深入. 在我閱讀 IMDb movie discussion board 上的討論之後, 發現很多人有同感. 我想我會再去看一次, 或許會注意到更多細節.
唉, 如果此片沒被提名奧斯卡 Best Picture, 我也不會覺得意外...
MOAG opened in Canada on Dec.16, last Friday. Unfortunately on that day we in Montreal had the worst snowstorm in 35 years, so I was unable to go to the theater. Well, today, I finally saw it! It was the matinee I went so there were just a few people. I was actually a bit nervous sitting there waiting for the movie to start. Probably because I had anticipated it so much and so eager to see Ken!
I read the book twice, and I think it affected my feeling for the movie. Most of the time the storyline is faithful to the book, although some scenes are changed to add dramatic effects to the movie. Basically it is less enjoyable for me to watch a movie when I already know what will happen next. But to see these characters come to life is also a wonderful entertainment. I think the actors did a very good job. I especially like Gong Li’s performance. I really think she deserves an award for her role. All of them speak very good English; and I find Gong Li’s English sounds more natural. Well, just my humble opinion.
Ken 渡邊謙 is great, of course. Can’t get enough of him! As I said, the movie is pretty faithful to the book. Those of you who read the book know that Sayuri and the Chairman have no sexual scenes described in the book except for the final kiss (which brough tears to my eyes). So those rumors and explicit sexsual picture that was supposed to be Zhang Ziyi and Ken were false and they were just fabricated by people who hate her.
Although this movie is very beautiful, it is not profound. I feel they could do more about it. There were so many scenes that could really be emotional but they didn’t happen to me. Maybe my expectations were too high...
Anyway, I am really very very happy to see Ken on the big screen again.
Oh, and his kiss to Zhang Ziyi...(sigh)...what a very lucky girl.
