再來介紹一首Paul Simon的歌曲《Kodachrome》，此曲出於他個人第三張的錄音室專輯《There Goes Rhymin' Simon》(1973)，單曲的成績相當亮眼，拿下告示牌熱門100排行榜的第2名。

Kodachrome是柯達公司所生產的一款彩色膠卷名稱。Simon原本在寫一首名為《Goin' Home》的歌，而覺得換成《Kodachrome》會較為有趣。歌曲闡述了記憶是如何的被構築以及對世界著色的事物的欣賞。歌詞中：Everything looks「worse」in black and white」，也常被唱為「better」，Simon推說已記不清當初寫歌的原意為何？但他經常會改變來唱。「黑白」或「彩色」的世界孰者為佳？恐要針對不同的事物主題來做評論吧！據說Simon本身就喜歡照相，看來對日本的Nikon相機也頗熟悉，但聽他唱成「奈康」，有點不太習慣。

此曲在英國並不怎麼流行，部份原因是英國的廣播電台很少播放，尤其是BBC，由於此曲涉及「Kodachrome」與「Nikon」，對於有「置入性行銷」嫌疑的歌曲，該電台是嚴禁播放的。
