此曲為蘇格蘭樂團Middle of the Road於1971發行的專輯《Acceleration》中的歌曲，單曲雖然在英國排行榜只獲得第23名，而在德國、澳洲、瑞士、挪威及荷蘭卻均為冠軍曲。

Middle of the Road成立於1967，但直到1971才以一首《Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep》奪下英國排行榜的冠軍及打開了國際知名度。其間改過兩次團名 ( 改運乎？)，而最關鍵的是因一直無法突破，於1970改赴義大利發展，而在該地遇到了伯樂 --- 音樂製作人Giacomo Tosti，在其主導下，展現出具特色的合音，終於破繭而出。Middle of the Road在歐洲的知名度大過於在美國，ABBA合唱團亦是如此，因而被看成是ABBA的某一種「前身」。

Sacramento，是美國加州中部的一個城市，早期譯作「沙加緬度」，據說是當年粵籍華僑 ( 工 ) 的音譯，台灣亦採用此譯名，而現今大陸和香港則譯為「薩客拉門托」。

現在回看影音中的女主唱，有位老外歌友認為依然清純美麗 ( 也主要是因為身上沒有刺青說 )。順帶一提，樂團的吉他手和貝士手是一對親兄弟。
