三年後的1969，美國搖滾樂團The Beach Boys ( 海灘少年 ) 翻唱此曲，並收錄在其專輯《20 / 20》中，單曲在告示牌熱門榜奪得第24名。The Beach Boys的主要創團成員為Brain、Dennis和Carl Wilson三兄弟 ( 另兩位為表兄Mike Love及朋友Al Jardine )，而一向是由大哥Brain Wilson領軍，負責音樂及製作等事宜，但Brain因藥物濫用及精神健康 ( Mental Health ) 等問題，對於當Leader逐漸失去興趣。而此首《I Can Hear Music》即是由小弟Carl首度擔綱樂團Leader，並親自擔任主唱。

1996，The Beach Boys出了一張專輯《Stars and Stripes Vol. 1》，其中多為該團之前的歌曲，但均另找歌手擔任主唱。此首《I Can Hear Music》的主唱為當代基督教音樂 (Contemporary Christian Music) 女歌手Kathy Troccoli，單曲的成績不差，獲得當代成人排行榜的第16名。
