以聽西洋老歌來說，艾佛利兄弟二重唱 ( The Everly Brothers ) 和Simon & Garfunkel、Elvis Presley、The Beatles、The Bee Gees等等，絕對都是拼圖中不可缺少的一塊。The Everly Brothers的許多經典歌曲，像是《All I HaveTo Do Is Dream》、《Let It Be Me》、《Crying In The Rain》、《Bye Bye Love》……，都曾在吾等的青澀歲月中陪伴一起成長。

此首《('til)I Kissed You》為艾佛利兄弟的哥哥Don Everly所寫，1959以單曲發行，獲得美國告示牌熱門榜第4名。1976，鄉村女歌手Connie Smith ( 見亂談705 )翻唱此曲，亦在鄉村榜拿下第10名的佳績。

俗話說：「一吻定情」。男女交往，有了接吻的關係之後，雙方感情也隨之昇華到了另一境界。就如同歌曲中所描述的，才知有多麼的思念和覺得不可缺少對方。不過，若女方接吻只是被動式的配合，缺少了主動的激情，恐幾次之後，也會讓人覺得索然無味吧！

此1983的現場版，感覺無論是兩兄弟的唱功，以及樂隊的伴奏，均較當年的錄音版更臻完美。
