美國黑人靈魂歌手Wilson Pickett在未成名前曾寫了一首《If You Need Me》，並將試唱帶寄給了Atlantic唱片公司，冀望能得到出唱片的機會，但未獲得回音，只得另找其他唱片公司，就在該曲即將推出之際，Atlantic在未知會Wilson Pickett的情況下，由公司的當家歌手Solomon Burke同時發行該曲，形成了同曲對打的局面，最後竟然還是由Solomon Burke獲勝 ( R & B 榜 #2 )。

此首《Let Me Wrap My Arms Around You》為Solomon Burke於1975所推出的歌曲，成績並不理想，只在R&B榜得到第72名，但至今證明，喜歡此曲的歌友並不少。Bruke的身形、體重隨著年齡不斷地增加，2006年前後作秀時，只能坐在舞台中的大椅子上，估計他當時應有300到400磅 (約136至180公斤)。2010，Solomon Burke搭機赴荷蘭作秀，才甫降落阿姆斯特丹機場，即已呼吸中止過世，享年74歲，之後公布的死因為「肺栓塞」。
