One day, I went to a nearby restaurant for dinner with my family. Surprisingly, I met my EPA teacher, Miss Chan, there.
When we arrived at the restaurant, it was not very crowded. A waiter helped us finding a table in a while. After setting down, father asked for the menu and ordered some dishes, including my favourite food, steamed spareribs with fermented black bean sauce. After taking the order, the waiter took a teapot and cups for us. While I was waiting for the food, I looked around. A group of customers came into the restaurant and took a seat next to our table. I was so surprised that one of them is my EPA teacher, Miss Chan. I sat quietly and looked a t her secretly.
She looked very different from usual. During school days, she always wears dresses and looks very serious and graceful. But now, she wore a T-shirt, a pair of trousers and a pair of sport shoes. She always chatted with her friends and smiled all the time. She looked very talkative and sporty. A while later, they ordered much food such as steamed stuffed bean curd, spinach with minced meat. At the end of the meal, they took peach pudding as dessert. Finally, they paid the bill and left the restaurant with a satisfactory smile.
I really got confused. Who was the “real” her? From then on, I have learnt that I cannot judge the others based on appearance.
