This is a miserable news not only for the citizens of Iraq but also all the people of the world since the United States and Britain are reported to be setting a time limit for the Iraq leader to flee Baghdad or face a war.
If the Iraq leader, Mr Hussein, leaves the country, the war may be avoided. However, I think he wouldn’t do so. A war must happen very soon. I just don’t know why the Americans like wars so much. They have just completed their military action in Afghanistan because of the terrorist attacks. Wars are the most horrible human disasters. We should try our best to prevent them. I’m glad that our country doesn’t support the action of the United States.
From some of the newspapers, the America declares a war on Iraq because she wants to control the oil fields in Iraq. If it is true, the Americans are really selfish. I really hope that the United Nation Security Council wouldn’t pass the action of the war!! By **Fi**
