台北2019年6月27日 /美通社/ -- Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI)本日公佈與First Sensor AG合作開發可加快推出自立感測技術之產品，以用飛機杯於交通、聰明農業、工業製造及其他產業運用之無人駕駛汽車、飛行器和水下交通工具。作為合作的一部門，ADI和First Sensor將開辟更小尺寸的LIDAR訊號鏈，以使製造商為其自主安全系統注入感測和感知手藝時能實現更高的系統機能，以及更小尺寸、更低重量、功耗和成本。兩家公司並計畫開辟針對汽車和工業製造利用的其他LIDAR產品。
ADI與First Sensor為主動駕駛合作開辟LIDAR產品
ADI 公司負責 LIDAR 之總司理 Stewart Sellars表示：「我們合作的第一步是優化ADI帶領業界的跨阻放大器(TIA)和First Sensor的雪崩光電二極體(APD)，以供應客戶更壯大、更高效的LIDAR解決方案，為LIDAR系統在主動駕駛市場的大範圍商用提供更好的支援。」
在超過25年的時候裡，ADI延續開發用於交通平安的感測器手藝。最新進展包括專為將寬動態局限光電流轉換為低阻抗電壓訊號而設計的多通道TIA。First Sensor 於LIDAR APD之製造也擁有跨越25年的經驗，APD是將光轉換為光電流的高度敏感的探測器陣列。優化APD和TIA之間的互連相當主要，因為它對雜訊基準和所能實現的頻寬具有極度樞紐的影響。對這兩個參數的改善將直接轉換為LIDAR系統的更高性能，使該系統可在更遠的距離以更高的精度檢測到物件。
First Sensor履行長Dirk Rothweiler博士示意：「隨著客戶期望重新專注於實現既經濟又具手藝相容性的解決方案，LIDAR系統的市場正逐漸成熟，使APD和TIA相互適配是此演變過程當中具環節意義的下一步。透過擴大與ADI的合作，我們的客戶將受益於更高的LIDAR接收器性能。」

First Sensor和ADI將各自提供一個通用跳蛋評估板，系統製造商可使用該評估板測試整合解決方案。
