There's a staggering array of plants and flowers at VanDusen: over 255,000 plants representing more than 7,300 taxa from around the world. 


There are plant collections from South Africa,
 the Himalayas, the Canadian Arctic, and the Pacific Northwest
, each arranged in picturesque landscape settings.



Truffles Café at VanDusen

Truffles, VanDusen's casual cafe in the award-winning Visitor Center,

 offers a stunning view of the Garden entrance area and Livingstone Lake

 Its inside space accommodates 58 people; with an additional

 40 seats on the patio. 




Aligning perfectly with the Visitor Center’s ‘Living Building’ philosophy,

 Truffles offers Fair Trade coffees, handcrafted hot and cold beverages, 

locally-inspired epicurean entrées, flavorful lunch and snacks –

 all freshly prepared onsite from the highest quality ingredients.

 Designed in the style of European hedge mazes,
 the VanDusen maze seems small--
and thus easily navigated-
-but finding the center is harder
