< Affectionate Feelings of Maples >

秋風吟唱如歌行板

In the autumnal breezes there’re songs sung like andante cantabile

微微振翅溫柔

Slightly fluttering wings of tenderness n’ softness

漫山楓葉就羞紅了臉蛋

Filling the entire mountains are maple leaves reddening like blushed faces n’ cheeks

閃亮金色的年華

Shone their golden young years in the prime life

冬風覬覦

As the wintry blizzards

Are casting their greedy covetous eyes on them

楓葉演繹最後一曲生命的探戈

The maple leaves are illustrating the last life’s melody to its tango dance

無聲墜落的紅顏

The quietly dropping fallen reddening faces

就此投入大地的胸膛

Thus plunge down onto the chest of the Great Earth

 

跫音聆聽最後細碎的對話

The footsteps are harkening the last fragments of dialogs

生與死的剎那

In the life and death at the split second of the blink of the eye

有送別的眼眸凝望

There’s a fixed long gaze casting a seeing-off eye

等待一聲聲覺醒的

Awaiting many a cry to awaken people back to consciousness in the

——春 吶
